There are now over 2000 Fairtrade marked products – all carrying the logo and the list is growing by the week.

It would be impossible to keep this website up to date so we have listed the most commonly available in Gedling Borough and then signposted you to the full list at the Fairtrade Foundation.

Remember, if the place you shop at doesn’t stock what you want - ask them to. The green grocer next to Deli-icious on Mapperley Plains has now got Fairtrade Bananas after we asked him to stock them.

The supermarkets sell the widest variety of Fairtrade products and these include:

Coffee - both the original Cafedirect brand of instant, ground and decaffeinated and a growing number of fairtrade own brands.

Tea – a lot of different varieties including organic.

Chocolate and cocoa – eg Divine in name and taste

Fruit Juice

Sugar and Honey

Snacks - eg Geobars, muffins and cakes

Fruit – Bananas, mangoes and citrus

Wines and beers – Good range in the Cooperative Supermarkets

Footballs – but not for sale locally as far as we know
